Ways To Help

There are various ways that you can help, even if you aren’t planning to run or walk our event. You may choose to offer assistance as a volunteer, by supplying a Tribute Marker or Raffle item, or even conducting your own personal pledge drive. Below you will find links and information on ways you can help make a difference.

Volunteer

We are accepting volunteer help on the following dates: September 30 and October 1. Please visit our Volunteer page for a list of jobs, dates and times.

Donate

Even if you can’t make it to our event, you can still be an important part of our success. Your support is vital to our goal of reducing the impact of women’s cancers and educating the local community. There are several ways you can help, from tribute markers, pledges, raffle donations, and much more. For a pledge form, click here.

Tribute Markers

A Tribute Marker is a 12” x 18” sign prominently displayed on either the 5K Run, Competitive Walk, or PINK RIBBON LOOP course. In addition to your loved one(s) name(s), the Tribute Marker will include the W5K design and our slogan: “Some races are for kicks, some are for glory, this race is for Name(s) of loved one(s)”.  In addition to the tribute person’s name, you may add up to 50 characters (max) to signify who the tribute marker is from or you may include a special note!

Each Tribute Marker is $50.00 and can be ordered during the registration process for one of our events.
If you have already registered or would like to purchase a tribute marker without registering it is very easy.  Simply click here

The final date to order a Tribute Marker is September 23.
We encourage you to take your Tribute Markers home with you after the event. After the event the Tribute Markers will be brought to the front of the stage after all participants have finished the events. If you would like to keep your marker but are unable to stay until the end of the events, please contact Michelle Sames at mmsames@verizon.net or call 610-349-8811.
Please contact Michelle Sames if you have questions or a problem.
