Timing

The Women’s 5K Classic uses Lin-Mark Computer Sports for their timing and finish line. Results will be made available on race day here on our website as well as on the Lin-Mark website. Our event is timed using the Chronotrack Timing system. All entrants will be issued a disposable paper bib# with a strip- matched to your bib# (called a B tag) on the back of it. You must wear your bib# in order to be timed and scored. Do not fold or bend the bib#-wear it on your front torso clearly visible at all times – do not hide it. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BIB TO SOMEONE ELSE OR SWITCH EVENTS WITHOUT CHANGING YOUR REGISTRATION.

Results will be texted to all finishers that entered a mobile phone # during the entry process.

PHOTOGRAPHY

US Candids is the official race photographer for the Women’s 5K Classic. They will be on course taking pictures, as well as pre-race and post-race photos. A link will be shared a few days after the event takes place where you can view and purchase your race photos. http://www.uscandids.com

Photos by John is also one of our official race photographers. He will be on site taking team photos.

AWARDS

  • Awards to the top 10 female finishers in the 5K Run and Competitive Walk. (NCAA & PIAA exclusions apply).
  • Awards to the top 3 female finishers in each age division (19 and under,  20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and older) in the 5K Run and Competitive Walk.
  • Awards to the top 10 female breast/gynecologic cancer survivors awards in the 5K Run and Competitive Walk.
Sandy Christman Award – first breast/gynecologic cancer survivor in the 5K Run.
Sue Vogel Award – first breast/gynecologic cancer survivor in the Competitive Walk.
 
  • Mother/daughter prizes by random drawing. Please indicate you are participating as mother/daughter on the registration form.
  • Sister/Sister prizes by random drawing. Please indicate you are participating as sister/ sister on the registration form.
  • NOTICE: The gift certificates are donated by sponsors. Please use by the expiration date listed on the gift certificate.

AWARD PICK UP: If you think you may have won an award, we encourage participants to stay to be presented with their award at the awards ceremony. Any issues with awards will be taken care of at the ceremony. All awards are final after the ceremony is finished and results posted. ALL awards must be claimed within 12 days of the event. Unclaimed awards will be raffled off to volunteers. Awards will not be mailed.

RULES: Top 10 overall female awards will be based on gun time. Female age group awards will be based on tag time. Decisions of race officials are final. Awards will not be duplicated.
